[Bug 460022] [NEW] login manager fails to display list of users

Binary package hint: kdebase

on kubuntu karmic koala:
no list of user in login manager.
I checked "list users" in the users tab, also assigned icons.
After logout or reboot -> No list of users at the logon screen
