[Bug 460520] [NEW] "Report bug..." from Help menu does nothing (when apport-kde is not installed)

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdelibs

Since a while/some days "Report bug..." does nothing.

This may have started when I've removed apport-kde (but still have apport-gtk).
I've now installed it again (and it gets called).

In /etc/default/apport I have enabled it (enabled=1).

There's no indication in the stdout/stderr output when clicking "Report
bug..." in KMail.

IMHO it should always fallback to the default KDE bug reporting wizard -
and in my case should trigger apport-gtk.

** Affects: kdelibs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
