[Bug 412692] [NEW] Logout/Shutdown do almost nothing

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

It is for up to date Kubuntu Karmic. Logout/Shutdown do almost nothing -
just close Krusader, keeping, say, Konsole among all the desktop intact.
I'm forced to use '.../kdm stop' from Konsole (and then, say, 'sudo
halt' from console). Playing with Session Manager changes nothing.

The problem exists from Karmic Alpha 3 clean (empty HDD was used)
installation till now.

I have tried 'startx' from console (after stopping kdm from kde) -
Logout doesn't work also (was forced to use 'sudo reboot' ).

** Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
