You are right. Actually I have policykit-1-gnome. I made a "copy & paste
mistake" because I copied the name of the package from the one selected
(suggested) in the report bug page. I do not have any special
policykit, but I purged and reinstalled the policyKit package with the
hope of fix this problem. I would want to reset the policies to the
default ones, but I do not know how to do it.
I tried the solution proposed in #448661, by changing in section system
settings > advanced > policykit authorization > org.freedesktop > the
packagekit project > '''Remove package''', the Explicit authorization
list of it was empty and I granted to myself with no restrictions. Now
KpackageKit unistalls packages without prompting for user password (in
my session). Although it is a workaround is not what I want. I want
KpackageKit do prompt for the password.
