- 1. Kubuntu installation include download of additional language-packages after install completed. I think if Internet connection available installer must download and install language packages during installation, but installer from alternate CD not do this.

  2. Even language package is installed (from DVD or from Internet, if user use disktop-cd for installation), installed language not selected, and user must go to System configuration, and select system language by hands (just like in comment 10)
