First off. If you desire to be helped, I kindly ask use the Launchpad Questions feature or attend to an Ubuntu/Kubuntu forum of your choice. Bug reports are used to find and eliminate issues or defects in a product. And since the product you are having problems with is not in any way related to the one found in Kubuntu (as is also reflected in the version number, since it lacks the usual Ubuntu appendix but instead seems to be derived from Debian directly) you are absolutely right when noticing that you are not getting any help here.
Now, due to the "always" I must assume that this is not the first time you report a bug in unofficial software against a similar component of Kubuntu that got turned down. In consequence let me state this very clearly. When you add a PPA to your package source list and install software from there you leave the supported grounds of Kubuntu and may only seek support with the responsible entity that created the package you are experiencing problems with. Let me also kindly remind you that Kubuntu is not run by a company but rather a group of individuals who happen to spend their spare time on making a free operating system that is free of charge available to you. By filing unrelated bug reports and then dropping deprecative comments you not only make those very people spend time working on a bug they can not possibly do anything about but also demotivate them to do any further contribution to Kubuntu or to the free software world.

So. If you feel that installing software from unofficial unaffiliated
unsupported unrelated PPAs such as [1] is a good idea, then do not come
and blame us for the PPA's failure in providing working software.

Thank you very much.
