Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
Running on the LiveCD release of Kubuntu Lucid Alpha 3 I cannot connect
via a Huawei E156G mobile broadband provider. I can create the new
connection and configure it, but when trying to get it to connect I see
nothing back on the screen. I am getting the following error message in
the syslog however:
Mar 2 10:01:03 ubuntu NetworkManager: <WARN>
wait_for_connection_expired(): Connection (2)
/org/freedesktop/NetworkManagerSettings/1 failed to activate (timeout):
(0) Connection was not provided by any settings service
This occurs some time after clicking on the broadband connection icon in
KNetworkManager.
