The amarok icon on the "Notification Area 2.29.92.1" (afaict) randomly flashes/blinks.
Such activity being *immensely* distracting and irritating.

amarok running under the standard Ubuntu desktop (gnome).
Lucid Beta, updated late on the 22nd March 2010.
