After I updated to lucid the installation of skype I had developed a
strange issue. I use a dual monitor setup, using an external monitor
attached to my laptop. When the skype window is on the laptop monitor it
won't display dropdown menus when I press the buttons. It doesn't matter
if the external monitor is configured to be on the right or left. If I
move the window to the external monitor or disable the external monitor
completely, everything works fine. This affects both drop down buttons
in windows and the icon on the notification area. Since skype hasn't
changed I'm assuming this is either a bug in the qt libraries it depends
on or some subtle change in behavior of X that skype doesn't handle
properly.
