[Bug 573517] [NEW] Display artifacts when hovering over date/time widget

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

When hovering the mouse over date/time widget, I see a black area over
the left side of the panel. The area dimension corresponds to icon
description area. This happens only on Desktop 2.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Make sure you are in Desktop 2.
2. Hover over Application Launcher Menu so you can see information about it.
3. Hover over date/time widget. Now you should see a black area where the Application Launcher information was displayed.

System:
Kubuntu 9.10 64-bit and 10.04 64-bit
Desktop effects disabled.
Video chipset: Intel G45
Video driver: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.9.1-3ubuntu5
Kernel: 2.6.32-21-generic
kdebase-workspace: 4:4.4.2-0ubuntu14
