[Bug 656880] [NEW] Creating a new user should make sure the user gets a group assigned

I used userconfig in kubuntu 10.10 to create a new user. It did create a new group for that user but failed to give the group a name and also didn't add the user to the group in the end.
In my /etc/group I had a line ::1001: in the end.
