[Bug 657018] [NEW] Popup info boxes in KDE apps appear in black-on-black with default theme in Ubuntu 10.10 RC

with Ubuntu 10.10 amd64 RC updated:

with the default Ambiance theme when I pass the mouse over/onto an item
that has a pop-up message it appears as a black box with no script in
KDE apps, for example Kate, Konversation or Krusader.

If I change the theme to Clearlooks or Dust it works fine.  In fact, if
I change the theme back to Ambiance, it also works.

So the problem appears after boot up.  At this stage I have not tried
booting up with a different theme, but felt it was necessary to report
this bug.
