[Bug 766061] [NEW] cantor-backend-sage does not automatically appear in the list of Backends on startup

Public bug reported:

I reported this using the "Report a Bug" function. I was told to go to
my distribution with the problem, as it was related to the particular
filepath of sage.

Also, it's difficult to get the "cantor" bug reporting page on
launchpad.
