  In Kubuntu Lucid beta (clean install, updated as of april 2) there is a
  delay when login in. After typing the password and hitting enter nothing
  seems to happen for a few seconds. It is even possible to continue
  typing into the password field. After some seconds the login is
  processed. This is not a big issue but quite annoying.
  
  kdm 4.4.2-0ubuntu5
  
  This is on a Lenovo S10 Netbook Modell: 11G3G
