Downgrading libqtgui4 (and libqtcore4) to 4:4.7.1-0ubuntu10 did not
help,

To have VirtualBox working again ,I had to downgrade to
4:4.7.1-0ubuntu10 by installing two packages:

dpkg -i \
 libqtcore4_4.7.1-0ubuntu9_amd64.deb \
 libqtgui4_4.7.1-0ubuntu9_amd64.deb

that can be found in the pool/main/q/qt4-x11/ subdirectory of the
mirrors.
