Public bug reported:

In maverick streaming music to an airport express worked fine using
phonon-backend-gstreamer, whereas using phonon-backend-xine or phonon-
backend-vlc produced choppy and unusable output. Since my upgrade to
natty also phonon-backend-gstreamer is unusable to play the music on my
stereo.

Also it is impossible for me to output two different streams to the same
output device. This problem is not restricted to the airport express.
Using phonon-backend-xine or phonon-backend-vlc this problem is absent.
