Am getting a similar problem - Most torrents are giving a "invalid
torrent" error in ktorrent but working in other bittorrent clients.

An error occurred while loading the torrent /tmp/***************.torrent:
Parse Error
The torrent is probably corrupt or is not a valid torrent file.
