Thanks for the fast reply!

I saw some (version 1, as I now understand) Kexi screenshots featuring a
traditional menu with File, Edit, etc. items on Kexi's website and
hastily filed this bug report before digging further.

I actually like the Ribbon-like menu-toolbar, so I'm marking this
invalid.
