Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
I try to configure a WiFi connection using the "Network Connections"
applet from KDE "System Settings".
The problem appears from the start: when I ask the applet to scan for
ESSIDS, it shows me no ESSIDS. Therefore I cannot select the one I want
and I cannot create the WiFi connection.
I can list the available wireless networks using "iwlist scanning": the ESSID of my access point is correctly shown.
However the KDE applet doesn't show any ESSID.
