[Bug 890446] [NEW] maximize window in kde on secondary monitory is not full screen

Public bug reported:

When maximizing a window in my VGA cable connected monitor, instead of
the maximized application occupying the entire screen, there's a gap of
about 5-10% of the monitors width on the left side.

Tested in konsole, chromium, gnumeric and a few others.

See attached screen shot for an example of the behavior.
