Public bug reported:

In kubuntu 11.10 with the amarok package 2:2.4.3-1ubuntu2

when using "Files" as media source in the left panel, there is a file
explorer. At the top of this panel, there is the "Media Sources Home"
button, a ">" and the location where the path of the current folder
should be displayed. However the only part of the path which is
displayed is "/".

Moreover, if you browse in your file system with a depth of 3 or 4
folders, when you change the size of the left panel you can see tiny
windows appearing which contains each a button with the name of one
folder of the path. The bigger the panel, the more windows appear. And
if you reduce the size the windows disappear one at a time and they
appear again when you augment the size. It is important to change of
folder at least once after launching the file explorer if you want to
reproduce this latter bug.

This bug is especially annoying with the tiling mode of kwin with the
column layout, as if it is the only window, the window of amarok will be
maximized, which means that the left panel's size will be augmented,
which means that new windows will appear, which means that the window of
amarok will be reduced and so will the left panel, which means that the
windows will disappear and amarok will be maximized and it will start
again. In this situation the window will be no more controllable as it
will change dimension at fast speed.

** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
