I also get KMix crashing repeatedly when adjusting volume up/down
whether by hot keys, through the menu in the taskbar by the clock, or in
the application main window.

PulseAudio itself also seems to be dying repeatedly, no where near as
often as KMix, and it does not seem to be a crash, as far as it seems it
is acting like something is hard killing it, but I cannot find out what.
Unsure if related, but seems relevant.
