You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I have an N300 compatible USB WLAN card - edimax - ew-7622UMn.

It doesn't work with Ubuntu at all.

I can see the available networks, however when I connect it will *never*
authenicate (And thus never connect)

I can connect to the network using the onboard wlan card on my samsung
netbook fine (using the same details)

The ew-7622UMn card should be compatible with the WLAN network - I'm
trying to connect with WPA2 to a wireless G network .

syslog shows
