This release to Quantal messed up my computer, not sure if I hit a partially updated server or what, but I couldn't boot KDE anymore, to fix it had to do the following via console:
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

And then shortly I discovered that Muon uninstalled most of KDE packages
for who knows the reason.
