[Bug 1090773] [NEW] after most recent update PINE will no longer send mail

PINE was working fine until update
can recieve email normally
can compose new  or response email normally
when hitting send it "appears" to send the email getting all the correct indications
but mail vanishes.
I have checked all the settings, nothing has been changed
I have sent test emails to myself and my other accounts,  never recieve them.
still get emails from my firefox mailer
get emails from all groups I am on.

but nothing is actually sent, it vanishes.
apport senses nothing wrong.
