This bug has shown up on my system. 32bit, running Netscape
Enigma/Kubuntu 13.04.

In terminal:

gksu dolphin

Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/50-user.conf", line 9: reading
configurations from ~/.fonts.conf is deprecated.

sudo dolphin

Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/50-user.conf", line 9: reading
configurations from ~/.fonts.conf is deprecated.

Error: "/var/tmp/kdecache-vtpoet" is owned by uid 1000 instead of uid 0.

The only workaround I've found is to install Thunar, and run it as root.

Prior to my last update, I was able to run Dolphin as root.
