[Bug 1255462] [NEW] Segfaults when starting debugger

Public bug reported:
On Ubuntu 13.10, qtcreator: 2.8.1-0ubuntu1~saucy1~test6, whenever trying
to debug a project that contains C++ code, the debugger segfaults.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Qt Creator
2. Press Ctrl+N to create a new project
3. Under Projects, choose Applications
4. Choose the "Qt Quick 2 Application (Built-in Types)" template on the right
5. Press the "Choose..." button to continue
6. On the next screen, give the project a name and press the "Next >" button
7. On the next screen, press the "Next >" button to go for the default Kit Selection
8. Click the "Finish" button to create the project
9. Press F5 to start debugging. The project will build
Actual:
- When the build successfully finishes, the debugger starts and fails
with the following message "The inferior stopped because it received a
signal from the Operating System. Signal name: SIGSEGV"
Expected:
- When the build successfully finishes, the debugger starts normally
