I second that suggestion.


Here's the Beta 3.0 announcement page with download links to a compiled version ( "run" ):

I put back the gdb that came with Ubuntu 13.10 ( the one with Python 3 ).
apt-get removed my existing qtcreator.
QTCreator 3 looks good - debugging with helpers, finally!
