Public bug reported:

On every startup of Kubuntu, when you login to KDE the Driver Manager loads. It seems to be triggered by the fact I have hardware that can use propietary drivers. But I already have all the propietary drivers installed. So each time it starts it shows in my system tray and triggers a system notification, and this gets annoying after a while. Is there a way to solve this issue? Other than just disabling the system notification for driver-manager of course, which means it is still going to load on each login. This is on 14.04 Kubuntu. Package details:
kubuntu-driver-manager:
  Installed: 14.04ubuntu7
