Public bug reported:

This failure is repeatable and consistent.  I will hold off for a few
weeks figuring out how to fix it (maybe reintall O/S)  so if there's
anything you would like me to try/do please let me know.

The difference between this bug and 1349967 is I'm already running 14.10
though I would suspect there is a relationship.
