This file fixes it by stopping trying to get the localised version of the keyboard name
http://starsky.19inch.net/~jr/tmp/ubi-console-setup.py

since gtk doesn't get a localised version there's no shame is us not
doing so

I'll tidy it up on monday

I don't know if this will be a fix for trusty too as that presumably had
a slightly different issue which only affected Swiss users but I expect
it to fix it
