[Bug 1283622] [NEW] Plymouthd doesnt exit after login with kdm

[nOSinfinite]

Public bug reported:

Plymouthd will not exit after logging in with kdm. I am using Ubuntu
13.10 and KDE 4.12.2 installed from kubuntu backports ppa. When I press
CTRL+ALT+F7 I am taken to the plymouth screen and plymouthd used 30% cpu
usage as reported by system activity.
