Hi, I am having the same problem with a PixalView USB SBTVD tuner. I had
filled a bug report on: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329924

I tried to add the ppa "ppa:saxl/ppa " and upgraded the kaffeine, but still getting:
kernel: [14895.233993] usb 2-1.3: dtv_property_cache_sync: doesn't know how to handle a DVBv3 call to delivery system 0

I got that message when kaffeine is scanning for channels.
