[Bug 1338444] [NEW] Cannot type Chinese characters into the Qt Creator

I cannot type any Chinese characters into Qt Creator editor. I can only
copy and paste some of the Chinese characters into it. This also happens
to the "linguist" utility for localization. I can type in Chinese
characters in any of the other editors without any problems
