[Bug 774985] Re: kate does not load last-used session

Hello,

After giving up on this I tried troubleshooting again and found that the
fix I noted above is working now.

This was using the same fix shown above by editing the "katerc" file in section named [General]  and adding,
Last Session=mysession.katesession

My notes: 
$ kate --version
Qt: 4.8.4
KDE Development Platform: 4.11.5
Kate: 3.11.5

$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description:    Ubuntu 13.10
Release:        13.10
Codename:       saucy
