[Bug 1315191] [NEW] log out takes forever after a 12.04 to 14.04 upgrade

I upgraded from 12.04 to 14.04 recently on my laptop. Everything works ok, except for the log out process. It takes up to 3 minutes to log out.
What can I do to fix this ?
