[Bug 1448445] [NEW] plasma-nm causes kded5 to segfault

Public bug reported:

KDE on Ubuntu 15.04 causes kded5 to crash (every few seconds) and plasma
to crash (intermittently).

It's a duplicate of this stack tracke:

This has apparently been fixed upstream for some time:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345967

It isn't at all clear how the upstream relates to the Ubuntu package as
the version numbers are so different.

The machine was upgraded from 14.10 rather than re-installed. It has an on board GSM modem.
