[Bug 1507743] [NEW] qapt-deb-installer does not display newlines in output

Public bug reported:

I installed Skype from the Skype website, which I think invoked qapt-
deb-installer. The output from apt-get or dpkg shown in qapt-deb-
installer was OK except that it concatenated all the output onto one
line - for some reason, the newlines that would normally have been
outputted, were either not being output, or being ignored by qapt-deb-
installer.
