Hello,

The dooble package in the ubuntu repositories is a really old version
unmaintained (dooble-0.0+svn874). It needs to be updated to the latest
version. This has been requested for a long time.

See https://launchpad.net/~richard-sellam/+archive/ppa for a dooble
package (lintian error free) in version 1.45 (latest version) for
precise. It builds and install correctly in all versions starting from
precise.
