[Bug 1556384] [NEW] The Installer Crashed upon attempted installation of 16.04

Public bug reported:

Using a USB 3.0 ISO of Kubuntu 16.04 64 bit, I selected 'install'
kubuntu.  I selected English as the language.  At this point in the
installation process, I got an Error, 'Installer Crashed'.  The
installation process would not continue.

In the crash problem window was the following:

AttributeError: 'PageKde' object has no attribute 'set_using_secureboot'

My vision is poor.  Many applications and documents provided by
developers are too small for me to read without extreme stress.  I still
am unsure of some of the lesser used characters in documents I am trying
to copy.  The * in the above report may be ", I am unsure.

I hope I have copied accurately.  Thanks for your patience.

I have wondered why these areas, which are held to such small font size
are not configurable.  It is one of the features I love in Kubuntu.
Most font sizes can be made larger.

I apologize for the complaint; I am so very grateful for the excellent
work you do.  I love my Kubuntu OS.  Thanks for your part. :)


Sorry to be so obtuse, but when I attempt to attach the requested file, I don't see any attach option.  If this is a command line instruction, I do not know how to do it.  When I copy and pasted the file content, the length was prohibitive for this application.

There was NO partman file, so that may be the problem???


I will find how to create an attachment and attempt to duplicate the problem.  Sorry for wasting your time. :dunce:
