  "Konversation 1.6.2 released! (August 4th, 2016)". Notes say:
  Konversation 1.6.2 is a hotfix release that fixes an unfortunate severe
  crash condition that crept into 1.6.1.
  
  Perhaps packaging the newest version would fix the crash.
