Affects me too.
uname -a gives:
Linux kubuntu-acer 4.4.0-36-generic #55-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 11 18:00:59 UTC 2016 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux

in my ~/.xsession-errors there are just two files, that apparently have changed.
But as stated above they are mentioned a lot!! and it does not stop (although they do not change).
