Public bug reported:

The icons/folders on my plasma desktop are unstable in folder view while
using activities.

System Information:

I am using kubuntu 18.04 with plasma/frame/Qt/kernel/OS version(5.1.26,
5.47.0,5.9.5,4.15.0-29,64 bit).

Steps to reproduce:

(1)I have created multiple activities with "desktop folder
   view" enabled. The desktop shows icons, folders and
   shortcuts.

(2) With "Empty Session settings" at reboot, icon/links
    overlap,which is fixed by "Restore Session settings".

(3) Using either session settings, desktop folder disappears
    after reboot or folder manipulation(new file/folder
    creation), which may be fixed by moving folders on other
    activities desktop.

Expected Result:

The folder/icons remain stable on all activities during "desktop folder
view".
