[Bug 1873746] [NEW] kmail in Kubuntu 20.04 beta cannot connect to dovecot IMAP server

Hi there,

I've just upgraded to Kubuntu 20.04 beta and run straight into KDE bug
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419782 where kmail cannot connect
to a dovecot IMAP server.

This was working prior to the upgrade and the symptoms I see match
what's reported in the bug.

Apr 20 00:24:35 [redacted] dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected (no auth
attempts in 1 secs): user=<>, rip=[redacted], lip=[redacted], TLS
handshaking: Disconnected, session=<Ubx7yrOj2ACdg/qy>

Any chance of getting their fix backported please?
