  I cannot select (via mouse)
  
  File -> New tab
  
- - a sub menu is mean to open when clicking on 'New Tab >' but nothing
+ - a sub menu is meant to open when clicking on 'New Tab >' but nothing
  happens, i.e i cannot open a new tab via the mouse - the keyboard
  shortcut does work however
