In the Plasma desktop set the title bar double click action to Shade
Double click a title bar
The window shades up to the title bar.
Double click the title bar again
The window unshades to a seemingly random height, but each application's unshade height stays the same. Usually the height is just below the title bar, sometimes just below menus and others expand to around half the expected height.
