Thanks, Scarlett. The problem was not detected using today's "Kubuntu
24.04 (Noble Numbat) Daily Build":

$ sudo grep -i akonad /var/log/syslog 
$ sudo grep -i kalend /var/log/syslog 
$ ls /etc/xdg/autostart/*kal*
ls: cannot access '/etc/xdg/autostart/*kal*': No such file or directory
$ ps aux | grep -i [a]konad
$ akonadictl status
Command 'akonadictl' not found, but can be installed with:
sudo apt install akonadi-server
$ dpkg -l | grep -i akonadi
