[Bug 2054280] [NEW] Kubuntu's brightness slider is broken

The brightness slider is constantly resetting by itself. And whenever I try to move it back to 0%, it would get brighter. I had to slide over and over to dim the screen again. I even tried the open kernel and regular 535 nvidia drivers, and it still didn't fix it. I never had this problem on other distros
