openoffice, save/open "functions" and openoffice.org2*-kde

I reported this to the ubuntu bug system:
once I open oo I can's use any Open/Save/Export functions.
Open "related" functions just don't do anything, they don't open any dialogs.
Save "related" functions crash X. The only thing that seems to work is the mouse and the keyboard even if the only thing I can do with the keyboard is switching to console and kill oo.
I can't change focus on windows etc...

openoffice.org2-kde package conflict with a lot of oo packages and openoffice.org-kde was already installed.

What seems to solve the problem is Tools -> Option -> Use OpenOffice.org dialogs *MUST* be checked!
Better inconsistent look but no X freez.
