Hi Kenneth and Flavio,
I would also like to offer my help. Your new design is pretty similar to the Firefox website, but it really is much nicer than the actual one. Very nice. Adding a littel box (pane) on the right with the titles of the lattest news (a bit like www.openoffice.org)could be a good idea. That way on visiting the site you don't have to click anything to know whether there are new news items.
I have some HTML and CSS knowledge so I could be of some help. Just let me know!
